John P. Zasoba, Jr (1 May 1880 - 6 March 19671). Born in Przasnysz, Poland2 or Saint Petersburg, Russia3 (both unconfirmed). Received his education in Russia4 and in 1897 (1887) immigrated to USA. First John worked in paint factory in Brooklyn, NY. Around 1898 after earning enough money for railticket moved to his uncle Fred Neitsch in Curtiss, Wisconsin5. There John worked for Owen Lumber Company Railroad and by 1904 collected enough money to bring over his parents and siblings. In May of the next year he opened a shoe reparing shop in Withee, Wisconsin. Married Clara M. Zasoba (née Baehr) on January 24, 1906. Lived in Withee, Clark County, Wisconsin. Owned some land in Hixon Township, Clark County, Wisconsin6. Buried in Riverside Cemetery, Row B Lot #21 (Withee, Hixon Township, Clark County, Wisconsin). J1 family tree and places of residence. 1.
